Campaign Story

My name is Sarah and my husband is Wael.
We have been married since 2008. Right after marriage we got pregnant quickly and had a beautiful daughter in 2009.
We started trying for a second child in 2016 and the struggle to have a second child began and is still continuing.
After trying 2 years we sought out a fertility doctor in 2018. We were diagnosed with unexplained fertility.
In 2018 we did a round of IVF. 5 eggs were retrieved and 2 were fertilized. Unfortunately, these 2 never made it to day 5. This was a very hard blow to us. But, we picked up and said we would try again. So, in 2019, we scheduled a new round of IVF. Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to cancel this round. After all this we had spent all of our life savings.
I had just given up on our dreams of another baby. I stayed in a depression for years after. Now, I’m renewed and ready to try again. But, our savings is gone now. We are not able to use donor eggs due to religious reasons. I will be 42, so, this is literally our last chance.
